The new Swift Sport is coming to BCC Suzuki

So, what’s new?
Unlike previous versions, the New Swift Sport comes equipped with a turbocharged 1.4-litre engine sourced from the Vitara S. Helping to keep power on the road are an abundance of amends, including a new and improved six-speed gearbox, a revised steering rack for better handling and an upgraded braking system.

There’s a bold face, too. Based on the previous mode, the New Swift Sport brings a 40mm wider body than the base car.

What’s under the bonnet?
The Vitara S sourced 1.4-litre engine can take the New Swift Sport from 0-60mph in an admirable 8.1 seconds with a top speed of 130mph. The engine itself produces 230Nm of torque, which is set to the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.

With CO2 emissions at 135g/km, Suzuki claims 47.1mpg can be achieved on the combined cycle.

How does it look?
The New Swift Sport comes with a muscular face with a carbon fibre-effect rear diffuser – as well as the trademark dual exhaust pipes. The wider shape results in a more aggressive stance on the road, which is further emphasised by the new 17-inch alloy wheels finished in silver and black.

Exclusively introduced for the warm hatch is also the new colour – Champion Yellow.
